DREADNOUGHT CASTING REEL Co LTD (NEWPORT I.O.W.) "THE METEOR" BAIT CASTING REEL in very good condition and in full working order and complete with original matching block leather case (strap is short) The back of the reel is made from brass and not alloy as seen on all other meteors, I have shown this reel to several other Percy Wadham's  /  dreadnought reel collectors, and it has had mixed reviews as to whether it is a prototype or replacement, if its a replacement it was made perfectly and many years ago, unfortunately the meteor is so rarely seen that its difficult to say what has truly gone on with the reel, either way its a great piece of angling history! Please email me with any questions or for additional pictures
